I created Moonlit Troll on Instagram in 2020 and it's definitely gone through a few iterations. Starting with painting, moving to wood burning, then to real flower jewelry, I think its a great show of my desire to do everything and anything I can. 

In 2022 my account was filled with whimsical nature scenes burnt and painted into wood, that has given me the opportunity to transition my ready made designs into almost exclusively custom wood burning. I have absolutely LOVED working on all of the pet portraits I i have been trusted with and hope to continue for a long time to come.

As my business has grown I have begun focusing largely on real flower jewelry and accessories. I grow most of my own flowers, preserve them in silica, and then coat them in resin. When I'm not working on flowers I'm probably working on mushrooms and insects. Almost all of my mushrooms are self harvested in the PNW and all of my insects are sustainably sourced through a variety of vendors. Occasionally I work with found insects. 

My main focus jewelry wise is definitely earrings, I make a lot of earrings. Along with earrings I also create necklaces, pendants, bolo ties, and hair accessories. I work really closely with the seasons and tend to be about 6 weeks behind the current season. With that being said, with seasonal flower, get them while you can because once they're gone they're gone til the next year! With working so closely with the seasons, I am also given the opportunity to have an ever rotating selection of flowers, nothing stays too long.
